
Comrades chocolate consumers,
Summer has arrived and it’s in full gear, as you may have all noticed. But worry not, we have something to cool you off and to quench your thirst… for desserts.
Ice cream, eyes cream, I scream. You can’t escape it during the hot season, as the white trucks trot around the city and specifically around your block, playing their little tune and attempting to attract customers. Unfortunately for them, they have the opposite effect on us. So we, at Chocolate Zoom, figured an alternative to these rather noisy ubiquitous temptations. In this special July issue we present you with the "Best Ice Cream Shops" in New York City, where you can get a scintillating chocolate kahlua or rose petal flavored ice cream that will caress your palate and that will get those sugar levels up so you can continue running the errands around the city.
Moreover, we found out for you which are the positive effects of stuffing your face with ice cream and dark chocolate – not at the same time though, so you don’t feel guilty anymore after gulping down a whole quart of triple chocolate from The Dazs (bless you for the triple!).
And it gets better with a story on what kind of wines you can consume with your chocolate. Or is it the other way around? Our dream is to consume as much red wine and dark chocolate as possible, in order to prove that the scientists are right about the antioxidants keeping heart diseases at bay.
A new exciting feature that we’re launching in this July issue is "Hotspot of the Week" which will feature interviews with personalities and entrepreneurs from the food industry, or will reveal new places in town that boasts miraculous desserts. After all, we ought to show proper respect to people who try to introduce us to new and invigorating sweets.
